Movie description
This volume of the Classic Archive series pays tribute to the legendary American pianist Byron Janis with two vintage live appearances on 1960s French television: a 1963 performance of Prokofiev's CONCERTO NO. 3 IN C MAJOR with conductor Paul Paray and the RTF National Orchestra; and a 1968 performance of Rachmaninov's RHAPSODY ON A THEME OF PAGANINI with conductor Louis de Froment and the ORTF Philharmonic Orchestra.
